The Lettermen 1968 TV “Going Out of My Head / Can’t Take My Eyes off You”
My great uncle is the singer on the far right. He still tours and is the only original member of The Lettermen today and he’s into his 70’s now, but is always on the road entertaining many months out of the year.
Maybe it is genetically embedded in me, as to why I’m such a damn sucker-fool for catchy vocal-pop.
I was impressed when I found this wasn’t lip-synced.
An interesting fact about The Lettermen is that behind The Beatles & The Beach Boys they were Capitol Records’ most profitable recording act of the 60’s.
