Me, Joe Jack Talcum, and my old lady back when Joe played The Happy Dog in Cleveland in 2007 like a day or two after Nicole & I started dating.
Anyhow, “Talk” is stuck in my head right now, which is odd, since I just listened to all of Black Flag’s “Damaged” album, which is something I have not done for MANY years.
But yeah, “Talk” is one of my favorite Joe Jack Talcum songs. Whenever he stops in Cleveland, I always ask him to play it, but he never does. He says he doesn’t remember how to play it.
While I think he should remember how to, I’m glad he recorded it… and I shouldn’t really whine too much. He did dedicate “Punk Rock Girl” to Nicole & I at this show and I convinced him to play “Wisconsin” when he played at Now That’s Class in 2010.
The song is on the “Home Recordings” album which originally came out on CD a number of years ago and is now out of print in that medium, but was recently reissued on vinyl by HHBTM Records.
